Debbie is the CEO and Senior Legal Recruiter of Gold Williams. She oversees all placements and focuses her time on Partner and Counsel level placements at Am Law 100 and 200 Law Firms Nationwide. She maintains an especially strong understanding of the East Coast legal market. After enjoying and practicing law for over 20 years, she became a highly successful legal recruiter at a nationwide agency and placed numerous attorneys in outstanding positions. She is adept at handling all aspects of the recruiting process including resumes, deal sheets, business development plans, interviews, financials, “portable books of business”, lateral partner questionnaires, and salary negotiations. Throughout the process she provides frequent and honest communication, maintains a positive professional attitude, and is a steadfast advocate. As a former litigator from an extended family of lawyers she understands the needs of attorneys and can navigate the complexities of law firm operations.
Debbie attained her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore. As a practicing attorney she was an active member and chaired the Ethics and Professional Division of the Baltimore City Bar Association. As a legal recruiter she continues to maintain the highest level of discretion and ethics. She is involved in several Jewish organizations and synagogues. In her free time, she plays tennis, enjoys all fitness activities, and is an avid game enthusiast. She enjoys traveling with her husband and recently went hiking in Croatia.
